First post! Changes begin tomorrow.


I've been "doing" Weight Watchers since a few months after kiddo was born--probably starting around March 2009--yet I'm about 20 pounds heavier than I was a month after giving birth. Hideously, I weigh almost as much as I did at 40 weeks pregnant. Yikes.
One thing that's turned me off about WW is that it relies on so many processed foods, artificial sweeteners, and non-fat products. I don't like to eat those things! I feel deprived when I don't or can't eat those things.
So it occurred to me that it might be an interesting experiment to see if I can succeed on Weight Watchers while eating "real" food. My plan is to tally WW points on favorite/go-to recipes, favorite "real" foods, and then figure out what a serving size of these foods should be.
This will be interesting.
It all starts tomorrow. I have brunch planned at Comforts. Hmmmm...
